Integrations Engineer, Healthcare Connectivity
Everything worklist does happens in someone else's system. You'll build the connections: clearinghouse claims and remittances, EHR and billing system APIs, fax and document feeds, and portal automation where no API exists, each with the capabilities it declares and the proof it leaves.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain connections to billing systems, EHRs and clearinghouses
- Work with X12 transactions (837, 835, 276/277, 270/271) and FHIR resources
- Build portal automation with takeover, screenshots and safe retries
- Probe connections, verify capabilities and raise one incident per failure, never a flood of work items
- Document each integration so the next one takes less time
What you'll bring
- 3+ years building integrations with external APIs and file-based data exchange
- Hands-on experience with healthcare data: X12 EDI, HL7 or FHIR
- Comfort with messy reality: rate limits, partial failures, undocumented behaviour
- Clear writing about what a system can and can't do
Nice to have
- Experience with Brightree, Healthie, athenahealth or another billing system's API
- Browser automation (Playwright or similar)
